Two points, to start with: 1. Perkalaba have recently celebrated their 16
th anniversary; 2. Perkalaba have significantly changed their composition. Thus, it is a turning point, anyway. In this sense the album of covers released now (as opposed to the collections of auto-covers
"Dzherga" and
"Rok'it Kuzmook") is farewell experience. To someone alive – but forever, for this person who's alive becomes different. And here Perkalaba say the sacramental "sho?" – and transform this action into a carnival with embroidered masks, the fiery dance of death, and Kundalini yoga for all family members (for Familia and Family are still significantly different things). Finally, Perkalaba is, if you allow, a strange fungus that forever changed the music map of Ukraine. And the tribute confirms once again that its mycelium (not to mention spores) long ago expanded beyond the territory of the country... Like-minded friends – very different, sometimes diametrically. But all together it is wonderful – it impresses with its integrity, some unconscious common code. Do you want to learn something non-obvious about Perkalaba? Here's a look from behind the mirror with dozens of self-sufficient mirrors. Two hours of Joy and Happiness for the Orchestra and all those who are com-passionate.. What's next? Only
Mokh knows that...
