Kuzma has been and still is one of those who do not feel reluctant to write and sing songs in which there is not only music, but also conscious texts. Though, far not always we could accuse him of putting deep meaning into the words – nevertheless. In Ukrainian rock music and everything around it, the music constituent has always been in the foreground – it is known. That is why even hard, alternative teams often almost do not have really poignant, actual texts – to say nothing about lighter directions and styles. The majority of exceptions from this rule are represented by groups that sing not their own texts, but poems actually written by poets. Plus – some of those who do hip-hop. Plus – such strange exceptions as Skryabin. This is relatively light music – but on each album by Skryabin there are always songs on social topics. And sometimes so serious and poignant that it hurts – although externally they, without unnecessary showing off, may look humorous, or quite simple, or sentimental... Here as well – it seems that in the music there is no hint at any ideological content, and in Kuzma's intonations neither tragedy nor pathos sound either. But you listen to the words – and feel somewhat awkward. The words are simple, and you know all that – but all the same. Kuzma has skillfully created a certain dissonance between the manner and matter – and that is why you just no longer can pass by the essence. Such is love. They say: "But Skryabin is pop music!" What should I say to that... If only all pop music were like that...
