DOK. DVA. /digi-pack/.

This Donetsk indie project has existed for about three years, and during this time it has already managed to release two albums – although the album "DVA", in fact, is the first official release by the band (at least, in Ukraine). "Brutal pop power" – so they call it. But there is a great temptation to also add other words: post-rock plus acoustic acid jazz with trip hop education – something like this, probably. However, all these names do not contradict each other – because music like this as it is means going beyond the limits of specific styles. But – inside of its specific space some lines, sequences are also arranged. In this sense, music by "DOK" quite organically fits into the fields and passageways that are in their own form developed by, for instance, such teams as Mamanet or Jacuzzi Project. They all look similar but not in music – because this is usually music with its own bright face – rather due to a particular spirit, the quality of musical thinking. And here we should mention the significant internal energy of such art blends. Listening to their recordings is always, at least, interesting. While their performances are able to even qualitatively blow the roof – and not for a couple of minutes... however, do not believe it. The best thing is – to compare, to check yourselves.
