Have you recognized them? Yes, you are right. This is “Pikardiyska Tertsiya”. This recording is interesting at least because it was made not at home, but in Poland and for Polish audience – and now it is here, in front of you. As you know, music has a habit of crossing borders, especially music of the grade like this one. That is, tricky music. It contains such great natural sense of rhythm and beauty that even if you wanted not to be astonished, still you could not. As for me, when people start talking about modern singing without accompaniment, the first association, which immediately appears in my mind, is “Pikardiyska Tertsiya”. It does not matter that there are a lot of other groups similar to this one. Still, it is the case of personal liking. But I will tell those who like this group that it is quite probable that they have not heard minimum half of the songs recorded at this disc. As for the second half, which they have already heard, there is a good chance to hear them in new arrangements. Both halves deserve your attention – simply because they give you great satisfaction. A real skillfulness always captivates you. Because it is exactly skillfulness that gives you the feeling of freedom of movement.
