Even if you do not know who Ivasyuk is (though it is difficult for me to imagine that), then you must know his songs "Waterfall" and "Red Rue", and may be even "I will Go to the Farthest Mountains". I think now you know for sure who Volodymyr Ivasyuk is. Thanks to Taras Chubaj and his friends, you can learn more abut him. This trip is worth while trying, as he is a wonderful lyric poet and Chubaj is no less wonderful arranger and performer. The songs collected here are unconditionally able to create a wonderful mood and inspiration to study life from inside, plunging into it with your head and, of course, with your heart. These are the songs of the open love which is not limited by anything which deserves been returned.

The album was first released in 2000 – and it was perhaps the first collection of insurgents' songs in modern arrangements in Ukraine. And it still, in my opinion, remains the best one.

In 1991, under the leadership of V. Kachmar Pivtorakozhukha the society "Kish" built the chayka "Presvyata Pokrova". Levko Tymoshchuk was an active member of the group that built the boat, and later became the otaman and captain of chayka. That CD contains a selection of Cossack, Kuban' and Ukrainian folk songs which Levko and other crew members enjoyed singing during their voyages.

Чудова, прекрасна, чарівна музика!у виконанні Чубая не втратила своєї привабливості. Диск вартує брати з собою в подорожі до Карпат. Захоплює. Швидко запам"ятовуються слова.
Далі, гірше, диск не дуже гарної якості: є "глюки" на 3-5 піснях (перевірено на багатьох пристроях, тож це проблема саме диску), Але зважаючи на рік випуску і те, що його (диск) взагалі зараз важко знайти ,то я задоволена.
Івасюк назавжди!

ПPЕKPACHO! i loved this album. it travelled a long way to reach australian ears but i love the music in partiular Vodorhraj - it makes me feel so passionate and proud to be of ukrainian descent. a beautiful album!

Пісні у виконанні Тараса слухає мій синочок і дружина. Малому тільки 2 місяці, тому він просто заспокоюється і засинає, а дружина днями наспівує мотиви:) Які ще можуть біти відгуки?

услышав его голос случайно у друзей, почувствовала, как бабочки летают внутри...
купив диск оттягивала "знакомство". не могу объяснить прчину такого ощущени - голос, исполнение, текст...
а может и не нужно пытаться анализировать, как нельзя анализировать любовь. когда ты все поняла, ты уже не любишь.
он дал мне ощущения про которые я забыла.

Taras did outstanding job on this record! The source material was very inspirational, of course, albeit little dated. What he did is have brought to up-to-date standards with regards of feel and sound. Solid symphonic rock all around. The production quality is wonderfull as well. Sound is very clean. What's important, the bonuses are great; you want to listen to *both* versions every time you spin this CD. Highly recommened for broad range of tastes!
