"The first volume of the "Collected Works" by Vasyl Stus in 12 volumes includes "Early Poems" by the poet from the mid-1950s till early 1960s, the self-made collection "CASE No.13/BE 1339", which the poet did not submit to any publishing house, the partly reconstructed collection "Whirl" and poems written before the mid-1960s. Since the creative feature of Vasyl Stus is the collection principle of poetic thinking, all concretions of separate poems in the greater poetic text are offered in the maximum possible volume. Some poems are published for the first time."
