Sydor-Hibelynda O. Ukrajintsi na Venetsiys‘kiy bijenale: sto rokiv prysutnosti. "Unknown Ukraine" series. (Ukrainians at Venice Biennale: a century of presence)
"The author covers the history of the world's most famous arts festival – Venice Biennale, the mirror of which, in its turn, reflected the complex and contradictory history of the 20th century's art. From the very beginning of its existence, Ukrainian artists were its most active participants – both at the level of private participation (Repin, Murashko, Arhipenko), and within specific groups (Boichuk artists), and only during the recent several years – in the context of national representation, often causing controversy and admiration. The history of the Biennale's own art developed in the dialectical opposition and attraction with the art of modernism.

The book is about the interaction of Ukraine and the West, about the place of its talents in the world and their perception by the world, about paradoxes of recognition and the beautiful vanity of the contemporary. As well as – about the phenomenon of a contemporary art exhibition as a kind of a festival, a carnival of geniuses (and "naked kings")."
