Somehow new disks of this series have not appeared for a long time, for about two years already – but, as you see, there is still no reason for serious anxiety. It is good, and it is nice to observe that not all forces have yet been spent for development of pop-aspects of our show business. Someone must remain close to roots – and skillfully bring them up to the variety scene. Preventing, at that, that such appearances turned into cheap farce. For this purpose, clearly, a very high professional level is needed. And, in the end, the National Orchestra of Folk Instruments of Ukraine is though not the only, but one of the main, powerful pillars of such respectful attitude to one's business. Inventive but careful interpretations of folk melodies – one. An extraordinarily wide instrumental palette – two. Undoubted mastery of musicians, light, air-filled performance – three. This is enough. However, the new disc differs from previous ones, and that is why: for the first time the series includes on this disc not only Ukrainians, but also other peoples living in the land of Ukraine. This is also an important part of our culture, without which the face of the country would not be so expressive. Thus – attention. We call CDs of this series "the first", "the second" etc. In fact, all of them are great and not accidentally our customers like them. There is no order numbers on the covers of the CDs of the series.

Patterns of Ukrainian authentic melodiouseness are submitted widely and floridly on this canvas. The picture was created by the master - the National Orchestra Of Folk Instruments. I emphasise a word Folk. Probably, due to this there is no arrogance, and officially on a disc. It really creates a joyful atmosphere...

Excellente série de disques (7 disques) de musique ukrainienne exécutée de façon classique mais néanmoins variée et attrayante. On ne s'ennuie pas une seconde !

I am a ukrainian dance teacher and I found that the music is great to use with warm up steps and also to use as music for my students to dance to. All seven CD's of this series have been a great resource for me. Plus htey are great CD's to just listen too.

I would recommend this for anyone with a deep love of music and the use of traditional folk instruments. I purchased numerous CDs done by this, the Ukraine National Orchestra of Folk Instruments. It is a real pleasure to hear folk music done in such a professional way. The versatile use of instruments used since ancient times such as the hammered dulcimer, piccolo, mouth organ, fiddle (violin), bells, whistles, etc. is a delight to the ears. I am especially fond of the hammered dulcimer, and am in awe of the versatility of the players in the use of them - especially the incredible speed.
