Roman Kolyada. Angels Return.

Currently, life reaches such a pace that it seems that not just the head – the whole world goes spinning. And everything would be fine, but these modern speeds are somehow too often connected with fuss in the vicious circle "work-home-work-sleep-work-work-and" .. So you need minutes of silence, moments of falling out – you need pauses filled with the clear water of no-waiting. For where aspirations disappear – there is the possibility to see clearer.. Piano sketches by Roman Kolyada resemble emotional imprints of states, moods, situations. But listen to these moments: behind them, as if behind changeable mosaics of sun glares on the water canvas, there looms – the soft power of the quiet stream that cannot be stopped either with wind, or with a paddle. One day after a concert by K-Trio (a track performed by them is a bonus to the album) I found out that Roman was planning to soon release a new recording – in which he went back to pure piano music. Regretted a little bit then – because K-Trio had a strong and positive impression on me, and I was eager to hear their album right then – but now I realize that I should not have. For "Angels Return" – it's coolly simple, and it's – simply cool...
