Except for the joint project with Yuriy Hnatkovsky "Snizhnist" dealing with Ukrainian-language cover versions of world winter holidays hits, it is, by and large, the first full-length album by Uliya Lord. We had to wait for more than 10 years – and, probably, no one knew what to really expect for. One thing was clear: it cannot be just a continuation, there must be something different. And this different stuff turned out evident in the music – it can be tentatively described as multi-layer electronic guitar pop with spices. Quite simple, light tunes – but with various spices, sometimes bright, sometimes not so audible as sensible, which ultimately create a very rich, dense fabric. Which, however, somehow manages to stay almost transparent – in the sense that it does not squeeze. Rather – it tries to wrap, invites in, it does not burst into your space. On the other hand – Uliya's performance manner remains recognizable, and it's also a nice aspect. Because, ultimately, her distinctive singing, which wonderfully combines intimacy, nervous tension, openness, desire to break free – does not leave one indifferent.
