In 2007 the release was issued in the ordinary plastic boxes – well, and this release has already been executed in digi-packs. That's what we wrote about this disc then:
"A disc with music by Myroslav Skoryk is already by definition a thing that cannot but come into notice. Especially – when performed by such musicians (Bohdana Pivnenko, for example, is considered one of the best Ukrainian violinists of the new generation). And also in view of that recordings of music by modern Ukrainian composers in general, unfortunately, are released not as often as desired. By the way, this disc even became the first (!) recording of sonatas by Myroslav Skoryk. Moreover: even the very music sheets of Sonata No.2, without regard to its popularity, were not yet published at that moment. And Sonata No.1, by the way, is one of his diploma pieces in the domain of chamber music with which he in his time defended his degree after post-graduate studies in Moscow. Thus, this release can be justly referred to as really exclusive one. And, finally, we should note that the disc represented is a part of the unique series "Anthology of Ukrainian Music" – and here a little bit more about exclusivity: in the disc's design – as well as in that of a few other discs from "Anthology" – works by Ivan Marchuk are used (the only Ukrainian whose name is included into the British rating of "100 Contemporary Geniuses"). We hope for appearance on our shop window of the other releases of this series as well.. Well, and right now – Myroslav Skoryk, pieces for the violin and the piano. We believe that no more words are needed – listen."
