I know, that this album was awaited. But nobody expected THAT from Okean Elzy. Probably, everybody was waiting for another pop-rock album that will quickly get the first positions in national charts, will be heard from every cafe in the summer and will disappear before December. But we received a true alternative disc instead. The first impression of this album is "I do not understand". You should listen to this CD, listen more and more, discovering new and new layers of rhythms, melodies and emotions.
From the one hand, the songs on this disc are very different, but on another hand, they have common energy deeply inside. This album is a juicy mixture of hard rock music of 70-th, Oriental melodic and modern electronic rhythms. There is also a lot of experiments over the voice on "Model". Distinctive vocal of Svyatoslav Vakarchuk, his expression is strengthened by hard electronic effects. Have you now impression that this album is a big mixture of different experiments that are not interesting for "common" listener? Actually, this album will knead your muscles and bones, constrained by listening humdrum music. That's why this "cosmic-designed" massager is shown on the cover and on the label of this CD.
