This recording was made on March 25, 2009 in the club "Left Bank" under Lviv Opera House. The album was sold out quickly and has long been a rarity our store was just lucky to buy a couple of the last discs by chance. Speculating about live recordings by Perkalaba that's an ungrateful thing. While their studio recordings each time appeal due to the new ideas, their live ones win due to irresistible spontaneity. We have many times mentioned their cheerful mood of doom Perkalaba are masters of it but in concert recording this mood gets enormously exacerbated, and then one does not know whether to smile or cry together with them. Eventually, perhaps, to do the both things. At the same time... Note! As you know, Perkalaba is not a stranger to the aesthetics of punk. These discs, prior to that we got them, had been stored rather negligently thus, the covers look slightly "worn" (which does not contradict the punk ideology at all). However, the discs as such were not damaged that's why we decided to offer them to your consideration. Finally, they are really exclusive no other, "neat" copies are available or will ever be. In short, this is an offer for true fans.

Death cannot attribute meaning if it was not there from the start. But it may highlight some senses and rearrange accents I think that in the case of songs by Scriabin this will be going on for many more years..

This is a fresh recording, because it represents Kyiv concert of 2011 in the Ukraine Palace. And it's just a good concert recording. Both in terms of quality everything is heard well, nobody damps anyone, makes any noise. And in terms of the program it is no coincidence, perhaps, that the release covers almost the entire concert, 2 hours of music.

This recording is the case of an exclusive creative collaboration of two personalities significant for the modern Ukrainian culture. It is a pity that Les Podervyansky does not sing here. Instead, Oleh Skrypka actively participates in duping the plays, and this creates an additional comic and grotesque effect.. Published for the first time.

Speaking about live sounding it is impossible not to note perfectionism in the attitude of the group's musicians to their case. "Telnyuk: Sisters" play literally each of their concerts as though for the last time, as though they might have no other opportunity to change anything for the better. And what is that if not true, unfeigned respect to their audience?

...the second album is a recording of the performance within the framework of the TV project "Tviy Format". As recording of the program took place in May 2008, the core of the program was made of pieces from the debut work "Amore". But, sure, they did not do without novelties either and this is a whole third of the current disc.

Punk music, played by Braty Gadiukiny has, so to say, national colour. In a seem to be simple everyday stories, cocktail of dirt and trick make us to laugh at ourselves.

This time this is an alive recording during a concert, a kind of distinctive unplugged, as Foma accompanies his singing with a guitar only. Still because of that songs do not lose anything. Most likely it, as usual, gives the opportunity to listen more attentively to singing itself, exactly to inner melody of the songs, and they do not lack it at all.

...the songs, which are well-known to us, are performed in a jazz manner, and people say that Skhid-Side ("East-Side") is in fact one of the best jazz bands of Ukraine... Especially because in this particular case it is not only jazz, but also TNMKongo - this mixture turns out to be strikingly successful...

...cocktails by Gogol Bordello become more transparent. Not so much quiet, rather more considered, balanced internally. It seems to be a carnival of weird masks, behind which the simple idea lurks: no one makes you agree to everyday mediocrity. You can do it otherwise.

Perkalaba unexpectedly, without any announcement produced its third album. Well, and it was right to do that it has been long time already that we've been willing to hear something new from the spheres of absurd folk, and Perkalaba still stays virtually the main Ukrainian guide in the wilderness of these unexplored paths and ladders.

Yurcash really was not going to disappoint all those whom he managed to surprise so positively. The second album is also a sort of a "hodgepodge" of different, almost incompatible styles and moods, from hardcore to acid chanson. Though, there are now fewer "heavy" music remarks however, it does not seem to be a severe loss. And the banter in the texts has become more varied, diversified.

...the first album is a convincing evidence of the fact that this group is capable of making experiments deeply and finely through mixing ethno, acid, trance, rock and fly-agaric and at the same time remembering the taste. Still, even the vocal singing deserves your attention, to say nothing about the rest of music...

Perkalaba has managed what seems impossible to merge folk-ska and psychedelics, not forgetting about banter as well. Both in music and in the lyrics. Movement in this direction took place before, but now it has acquired even brighter, more expressive features. And this, you know, takes you away. If it goes on...

The group "VV" has recently celebrated the 20th anniversary of their creative life and have released a new album. The age is respectable not only for a group even for a person it is already quite a lot. One can and should sum up some results and draw conclusions. Actually, the album "There Were the Days" has become this kind of summarizing.

The overwhelming majority of songs are Ukrainian folk songs known to everybody. But you may never have heard them being performed in such a manner so far. If we mix this cuisine up on hard and forceful guitar reefs, as well as on violent drums, we will get a cocktail that blows up right before our eyes.
