Halyna Kruk. Spiv/isnuvannya. (Singing of Existence/ Coexistence)
"What is it like – coexistence of everything with everything? What is it like – that singing of existence? The God of our time – polysemy – tempts us with shimmer of meanings, the desire to reconcile the irreconcilable. How is it possible to sing the entire diversity of the world in one song? This is what the new poems by the famous Lviv poetess Halyna Kruk, written in 2006-2012, are about."

This is what Serhiy Zhadan writes about this book: "When mistrust transforms into tenderness, and alienation – into empathy, there appear poems about those who for a long time you have been trying not to remember, about all those men, women, and butterflies without a name, home or gender, who have always hid in your memory without stepping into the light. Halka writes about herself in such a manner that only the family doctor could write about her – in a light, detached, and open manner, so that psychoanalysis turns into psychedelics with tart impurities of the drive that she has enough of."

Kateryna Kalytko. Orden movchalnyts. (The Order of the Silent)

The portrait of a Ukrainian woman more often presents her being silent than when she is talking. But without the experience of this silence, there would be no voice that sounds in this collection. Serhiy Zhadan. Psalom aviatsiji. (The Psalm of Aviation)

..Changing the optics results in a change in writing. This is what the book is predominantly about: about how landscapes shape us, how trees give us verticals and lakes give us depths, how spring greenery teaches us optimism, and summer rivers teach us generosity. Simple knowledge that helps appreciate every voice heard in the morning.

Serhiy Zhadan. Spysok korabliv. (The Ships List)

Sixty poems about the memory, born of love, and about the fire, which only leaves tenderness behind. Sixty attempts to outline the light and speak about the air over the city. The Ship List is a list of those who have left, but who cannot be forgotten. A list of cities, where somebody is always waiting for you. Probably, the author's most intimate book.

This book is a fallout from the mundane life into metaphysics, a story about the human life that sprouts from heavy roots to levitate. A world born in creative visions can become the most important lifetime asset – an equivalent of true faith, hope, and love.

80 new poems written over the past two years. 80 attempts to experience by touch the time that we live in, that we breathe, that we talk about. The time every touch of which burns. The time where private diary entries may turn out to be a military chronicle, and Biblical stories – morning news.

Iryna Tsilyk. Hlybyna rizkosti. (The Depth of Sharpness)

..almost every woman can do that: give birth to a baby – and start to intensively recall her own childhood; see her husband go to the war – and start drawing parallels with the wars long past. But not everyone can with such love and determination express that, making the past as sharp as the present, and the present – as deep as the past.
