"For millenniums astronomers studied boundless spaces of the Universe observing the sky from the Earth. Astronomy achieved extraordinary successes due to cosmonautics. This Greek word means "space flights" (in lots of countries they use the term "astronautics" – star flights). Cosmonautics absorbs the most advanced inventions of the humanity and, in its turn, enhance development of science and technology.

Among glorified creators of the space and rocket technology, there were also lots of Ukrainian specialists. Unfortunately, lately all achievements of the soviet cosmonautics for some miraculous reason Russia attributes exceptionally to itself, forgetting that soviet space successes to a large extent were Ukrainian as well. Having read this book, you will find out the significant contribution of Ukrainians into domestication of the Space. Among chief and leading designers there were almost 20 Ukrainians. Due to our space genius – Yu.Kondratyuk, S.Korolyov, V.Hlushko, M.Yangel, V.Chelomey, H.Lozyno-Lozynsky and others we have all the reasons to be proud of Ukrainian space achievements – former and today's ones.
