While we expected for release of solo projects by participants of the group, Tol suddenly released a new album. At that, they took for it songs composed and sung first as long ago as in 2003-2004. Thus, we can see an interesting combination – today's experience and mastery were merged with emotions, impressions of the past. As they say, new yeast on old ferment... As a result, the album has appeared to some extent, we could say, lyrical – well, as far as such definition can be in general applied to music by Tol. That is, this is not complaisant softness – it is just that one feels in the sounding some special, transparent, adult attitude to these songs. As though they already have their own, separate life – the only thing needed is to reveal it, to fixate in the recording exactly, without superfluous complications. It seems that they have managed that. At that, they have managed to reflect exactly this, a bit distanced attitude. Possibly, the structure of the album also plays its role here – short poems sound between songs, that is why there appear pauses in the stream. As a result – there is no hard hurricane of energy, every song looks and sounds more distinctly. Presumably, that is why the album and sounds are saturated. In the end, let us mark another important feature – on this album, for the exception of a couple of tracks, songs sound in Russian.

..the debut mini-album by the Kyiv group "Kraamola". Despite the relatively small content – four songs plus a bonus – the work definitely manages to catch with its energy, a powerful message. And it's not just that the music is heavy – thus, by definition, it is tense, charged with energy.

Artistic tools of alternative music, expressive male vocal with a number of emotional tints, introduction into the body of the songs of singing in the authentic manner, extraordinarily appropriate sounding of folk winds – all of that creates a very saturated, literally electrified atmosphere. Allright, so I was in Ukraine this summer and I bought this cd just to have an idea of Ukrian rock bands. I was very positively surprised! Although some songs looked like Korn rip-offs the first time, I concluded in the end that this band has got his own, great, sophisticated style.
Too bad that I do not understand anything of the lyrics.
