Los Kolorados is a striking example of how a joke may turn into something more than just a joke. In any case, hardly anyone expected that their deliberately amateur video for a cover version of a famous song executed in a deliberately amateurish way will result in millions of hits on the web. And, as a consequence, in invitations to perform in Europe – in particular, in Germany, where within the context of this unexpected wave their debut album was released. Note – by the recording house dealing with the famous Rammstein group. No more jokes! You now see the second album by the group – or rather the upgraded, expanded Ukrainian version of the debut album. The differences are that there are now more songs than in the first version (as many as 14) – besides, there are now more songs in Ukrainian. However, the production quality is claimed to be German one – and this is also an advantage. Moreover, the release contains a 12-page booklet with lyrics and photographs. Luiku is rather ironic dance music with a very pronounced folk component, the accelerated Ukrainian gypsy romance supplemented with Turkish, Polish, Romanian, and Hungarian lines. The music, besides being catchy (although there are also a couple of relaxed pieces), is also very, so to speak, convex.

Strange as it may appear, but you’ll find a good deal of novelties on the disc – the songs that have never been released before. And personally I consider them to be just wonderful songs. The album is really queer, its style is "for one’s soul". To the question "for whose one?" we answer: a hippie’s one, whatever this word may mean. It is a man's dialogue with the air, when the woman has already left, but her image is still melting in the mirror. And you are in the middle of all that – what other explanations do you need? There is nothing. A hangover philosophical song.
