If it seems that this piece contains a bit less of the "raw" insolent energy than "CityLine" – well... Instead, there is more of the other one, that comes from experience, the desire to save on movements without losing expressiveness – it's interesting, by the way, that all the basic material was recorded in just one day. However, the "New Names" album, despite the title, does not sound like a breakthrough – rather, as a summary, self-identification: "we exist – and now we are like this", as if it were a way to prove that the crisis (whatever it was in the inner history of the band) has been overcome. So this is a marker album and, at the same time, thoughtful preparation for the next step – at least, it sounds like that. Indie rock in Ukrainian is still not the mainstream in Ukraine, but 5 Vymir is just one of those bands that are able to change this situation for the better – there is enough musical and literary sense, charismatic manifestations, and they are not lacking ambitions. Let them just not stop, as, for example, YouCrane did – and that will be a feast. For many and, apparently, not only at home. Just listen how much tenderness looms through this rebelliousness..

Add a bit of a bare nerve – and this would be "disruption" music, but for the time being The Elephants offer indie-pop-tronic with elements of fabulousness. And they do it so that one wants to believe it.
