It is difficult to start writing about this album, which right from the first notes penetrates into the very heart – and it, as known, does not need any words.. It would be possible to start with that ecm esthetics corresponds to Ilya Alabuzhev's spirit – and it is no surprise because in his music there are transparent points meeting these aesthetics. Or it is possible to immodestly start with that personally I literally fell in love with this music at once – even when I first heard some compositions by Illya several years ago. Because here, without regard to all the internal patterns and external lightness, there is still space, air for – reflections. Not for a sort of an intellectual showing off game. No. This music somehow unnoticeably makes one think about beauty of the world – because, in the end, it also bring into our world – beauty. Harmony. Warmth. Such seemingly simple things, but how difficult it is sometimes to share them – but Illya, it seems to me, is truly able to. And at that – or, maybe, due to that – he stays a very modest person who constantly works in himself and over himself. Don't true masters grow up exactly from such ones? ..Or one could start .. what did Alabuzhev start with? His first album is titled – "Recovery".
