Since the share of lyrical songs in the bulk of works by "Skryabin" is gradually but steadily increasing – the attempt to create a sort of a collection of such lyrical songs seems justified. And the collection has worked out well – the disc is just up to its physical rims filled with nice melodies and good lyrics of varying degrees of depth. Maybe, it will be enjoyed even by those who feel nostalgic about the old "Skryabin" and who do not like the new one – because it is quite difficult to distinguish here not only the strongest, but also the weakest composition. Not because they resemble each other – but because each of them really contains its own, special highlight. After all, lyrical songs as such are not limited to the theme of "love and sighs" – and in "Ballads", they have also allocated some space for reflection on very varied topics. Often without definitive answers – but with significant questions.
