Vasyl Shklyar. Troscha. (Wreck)
"Troscha" is a novel about the UPA (Ukrainian Insurgent Army), about one's victory over circumstances and over oneself. The author himself says that he wrote the book in order to show the world that Ukrainians have not conformed with the regime and continue struggling as they did before. New from the author of the bestsellers "Zalyshenets" (Outcast) and "Marusya"!
For the protagonist, an UPA fighter, the war already passed, but the struggle has not been forgotten. But suddenly he sees in a cemetery a new grave of his military comrade, and memories pour on him with renewed vigor. "Ours guys" and "aliens", friendship and discord, love and betrayal, pardon and revenge, freedom and captivity... The battles once again unfold in front of his eyes, and interrogations go on, he sees faces of various people appear, but fails to see the traitor's face..."
