The new children's book by Stephan Nederytsa is a kit, which includes:1. a great poetic color ABC book;
2. the CD "The First Music ABC" (more on the disc – here: umka.com/first-musical-alphabet)
3. the coloring ABC album by Marysia Rudska (see here: umka.com/abetka-rozmalyovka).
"I intended to issue the series of music books "Aesthetic Education of the Future Genius" in order to withstand the onslaught of the commercial mass culture. These books are designed to return the Art to children in its true sense of the creator and healer of people's souls... I'd really like to teach children to read books not only with their eyes, but also with the ears, that is to teach them to listen into – to educate not only the art of seeing, but also the art of hearing, which is almost equivalent to performance...
The text of the ABC was written by pedagogue Svitlana Polishchuk for her son. Having come across this text, I realized: that was exactly what I was looking for, as it was saturated with the maternal love and the love of Nature.
I suggested the role of the artist to Marysia Rudska, because I think that it is she who is able to depict animals and birds in a child-like direct, naive, and sometimes funny way.
The ABC was recited with the maternal voice by Alla Mihay.
An interesting and useful trove in this series of books will be the special coloring album – so, the child will not only hear the great music, lyrics, and see the great pictures, but he/she will also have the opportunity to activate imagination and color the book's characters in his/her own way."
