Igor Zavadsky. Angel Trills.

Ihor Zavadskyi is not simply an accordion player performing a broad classical repertoire. He is the only owner of "Golden Lyre" in Ukraine, which is a special prize of the World Confederation of Accordion Players, and also the owner of four golden medals won at international contests. Today Ihor Zavadskyi has five albums, and according to chronology, "Angel Trills" is the third of them. In this album a unique recording is presented - solo performance of an accordion accompanied by a chamber orchestra in concerts of Vivaldi and the duet with clavecin in compositions of Bach and Tartini. It is exactly Tartini, with whom both the title of the album and its idea content are connected – the matter concerns the struggle between good and evil. In Zavadskyi’s interpretation, the black forces become weaker and the white forces become stronger and gain height. Such interpretation is not strange, because with all his creative activities Ihor Zavadskyi gives a listener light and sincere feelings, thoughts and emotions. Thus, there’s enough place for everything in his album – for nostalgia, search, sadness, but not for aggressiveness and fear. Dark things must become enlightened, mustn’t they? Besides, one more idea is present here. Its consequence is adaptations of classical compositions into a pop art manner. Good ones.
