"Ukrainian Baroque" is a new and currently the latest disc from the collection series "Masterpieces of Ukrainian Music". As far as we know, it is with it that the series will be completed – no other collections are planned within it. Let us remind in this relation: the series is released in a limited number of copies – and as of today very few complete sets of this collection are available. This collection represents ancient pieces of music created in the "refined epoch", almost on the verge of the new time – by the way, in Ukraine the baroque epoch lasted a bit longer than in the majority of other countries (till about the middle of the 18th century). In any case, quite a substantial work has beer realized here – for the majority of the pieces, pay attention, were restored based on handwritten collections of the 17th – early 18th centuries. However, it is really worth those efforts – the disc appears just wonderful. Light, saturated and very atmospheric – it really captures imagination and without any tension carries.. no, not in those times – into our picture of those times. And that is why, presumably, there is a bit more beauty and refinement than there was in actual fact (because those times were far not peaceful) – but that does not appear as an obstacle for us. In the end, all of us are living in an imaginary world, aren't we?.. You may order this item as a part of the following item set:

Доброго дня, Ярославе. Видавництво "Країна Мрій" витратило гроші на створення цієї збірки - і має право сподіватися на їх повернення. Саме воно, як правовласник, може цю збірку або продавати, або роздавати (або ж музиканти можуть чинити як хочуть кожен зі своїм записом). В даному випадку - продає. Вистачає "доброчинців", які, придбавши альбом, викладають його у вільний доступ - не спитавши не то що у видавця, але й навіть у музикантів. Питання: музикантам відпускають у крамницях "куліш і шаровари" безплатно? Ні.

Прекрасні пісні, чудове виконання. Але, любі мої, так жорстко заробляти на мистецтві... Хоч в поганенькій якості викладіть ці збірки прослухати, бо що тут і зараз купувати - обкладинку з компакту? Чи все гуртом, витративши дві зарплатні? Не робіть такого бізнесу на нашій культурі, бо так і будемо у шароварах куліш варити три рази на рік на свята, заради веселощів "старшого брата"...

Чудовий подарунок для друзів - послухати як колись (17 століття) звучала українська музика. Чудові пісні, інструментальні твори - піднімають настрій.

Диск для мене цінний , насамперед, виконавицею з прекрасним голосом - Наталією Боянівською. А також композиціями ансамблю давньої музики Костянтина Чечені.

Українське бароко - складне й осібне явище в Европі, що, на відміну від багатьох інших найіональних адаптацій цього стилю, виразно поєднує традиції вітчизняної, зарубіжної клясики, а також, що дуже важливо, народних, фольклорних вкраплень. Ця остання обставина не здається мені обґрунтуванням залучення камерно-фольклорних голосів і деякої спрощеності інструментального виконання на не найкращих інструментах. Мені здається, що проект загалом плідний і заслуговує на потужніший розвиток.
