Unlike the album "Reasoning Individual", this one is not a solo album. In this case – we listen to a work by Serhiy Shyshkin with the ShyBaLukKa project (Shyshkin-Bakovsky-Lukyanenko-Karapulko). And the work, by the way, is truly cool.. There is, you know, a specific kind of songs –almost calm apparently, but with a powerful internal drive. Sure, if you listen to the lyrics.. And they are worth listening to – because Serhiy Shyshkin not only has interesting life experience, but also enjoys the ability to look at this experience with a smile. A wicked smile, and with some bitterness – but still a bright one. While not knowing the language, after all, will not deprive one of the joy, it will just be – different. In musical terms, this is a magic pot, in which jazz and blues, and bard chanson are boiling – and there appears music with soft but strong wings. In the evening mood – transparent in its content – and (let me reiterate) truly live for sensations. The outstanding, indeed, Ukrainian music – somewhere from the paths, it seems, where the albums by Victor Morozov based on poems by Kost Moskalets are rooted..
